Traditional Irish red – right out of the tales of PATHIC – Lebanon author Larry Jordan’s Epic novel. This is our third literary collaboration. True to the red ales currently produced in the Emerald Isle, we used only European malts, noble hops, and Irish ale yeast. The color is on the darker side of ruby more copper or amber. As it warms a bit, it develops more body and malt flavor and the malt grows into balance with the hop bitterness. Toffee, toasty, buttered toast impressions. Medium-light body with a fruity aspect that hits the nose right off. A very slight roasty note that is more sensed than tasted, with a slightly malty and sweet aftertaste.
